cakap cakap......XAVIER JUSTO : Wag The Dog?

Wag the Dog: An item of minor importance dominating a situation.

The arrest of Xavier in Thailand diverts the negative political attention resulting from the fall out of 1MDB away from Najib Razak and shift the focus on to Xavier.

Within a heartbeat of Xavier's arrest in Thailand and with all the bluster and authority of the PMD that they can muster Najib and his people have started to go on the offensive to clear Najib of any wrong doing in1MDB. The timing is exquisite! Just when it seems that Mahathir has got him by the balls and started to squeeze...Xavier is arrested in Thailand.

It is all an attempt to besmirch the good name of the prime minister they say, and Xavier is involved! Najib is vindicated of any wrong doing in 1MDB!

Forget that Ernest & Young and KPMG had withdrawn their services as external auditors of 1MDB.

Forget that Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) has urged the Government to set up a special high level task force to conduct a full investigation into the numerous allegations of a “massive billion ringgit financial and commercial crime scandal” involving 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

Forget that an UMNO  division leader lodged a police report against 1MDB for alleged impropriety in its fund management.

Forget all that you have heard about 1MDB! Can you?
An Umno division leader lodged a police report today against state investment arm 1MDB and its subsidiaries for alleged impropriety in its fund management. - See more at: http://www.themalaymailonline.com/malaysia/article/umno-division-chief-alleges-imdb-mismanagement-lodges-police-report#sthash.i1Cq3S4P.dpuf

Already The Edge Malaysia, The Malaysian Insider and The Sarawak Report are accused of slanderous reporting against PetroSaudi and 1MDB.

And there will be more of this sort of wag the dog moves.

Just remember this:

What has Najib not sullied?

sully

past tense: sullied; past participle: sullied
  1. damage the purity or integrity of.

"they were outraged that anyone should sully their good name"

synonyms:taint, defile, soil, tarnish, stain, blemish, besmirch, befoul, contaminate, pollute, spoil, mar, spot, make impure, disgrace, dishonour, injure, damage

"he never sullied his lips with swear words"

One word will answer the above question: EVERYTHING!

Even the good name of his late father Tun Abdul Razak.

What his father had toiled for most of his life, FELDA, has now become FGV - there is no need to say more.

He has put his father's name to a leading global centre for international finance, trade and services with the launch of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) promising that more than RM3.5 billion worth of FDI will flow into the country under Phase 1 of the Exchange. We now know what TRX is to 1MDB.

Najib has sullied everything that he has touched..... well almost everything. There is still the good name of his mother Toh Puan Rahah Noah. Let us see what he does with that!
