The Beatles : I'll Be Back Again.

BEATLES : Out takes.

Tun Abdul Razak Hussein : A Muslim, a Malaysian, a Malay (I am sure he would want it to be in that order!) husband, father, lawyer, politician and Prime Minister extraordinaire!

Thirty nine years after their father dies his children are having to defend the legacy their old man left?

This man had to the same Alma mater as I did - the Malay College Kuala Kangsar.

He was born in the same town as my father was - Pekan, Pahang and shared the same Bugis ancestors as we do.

The closest I have physically got to this man was at my late Uncle's (Mahmood  Ambak) house when the man was present from time to time during the many parties that my uncle, Pa Ngah Che Mood, liked to throw.

This man died in the service of his country.

This man died while still serving his country.

This man is our Bapa Pembangunan and now has as his last resting place, the Heroes Mausoleum near Masjid Negara - and deservedly so!

I speak of Tun Abdul Razak Hussein : A Muslim, a Malaysian, a Malay (I am sure he would want it to be in that order!) husband, father, lawyer, politician and Prime Minister extraordinaire!

How can this be so? What has happened to make it necessary for his children to defend the legacy of a man who has done so much for our country and our people?

This was the man who refused to build a swimming pool at his official residence Sri Perdana because he was concerned about what the Rakyat would say of that extravagance.

This was the man who did not want the old brown curtain at Sri Perdana changed because they were, in his opinion, still good.

This was the man who set up BN to replace the Alliance.

He was amongst the five who founded ASEAN.

He ended Konrontasi in negotiations with Suharto.

And he established diplomatic relations with China.

He also directed his government to gave priority to rural development and education to overcome the two most common reasons for the disparities amongst the racial groups in Malaysia.

His priority was national interest and never personal interest.

Despite the political tension surrounding Tunku’s departure and Razak’s ascension as Prime Minister, Musa remembers his mentor for his gentleness, patience and consultative approach, coupled with his firmness to see a decision through once it was made. These were values, Musa says, that Razak knew were needed to manage a multi religious and multiracial country like Malaysia.
Musa Hitam.

As a leader, he was never rude, respected as well as respectful. I remember my father telling us that Tun Razak always addresses him as "Che Hamid" .

“Another aspect of Tun Razak’s personality was with regard to crowds. He was not too happy that there should be a crowd to send him off when he went overseas and a crowd to welcome him back. To him, these people would be more productive to be in their offices doing some work. He was a low-profile person who preferred be unobtrusive and un-noticed.”

The story of him flying off to Kelantan on official duty and leaving behind Toh Puan Rahah to find her own way there by private car because he did not want people to accuse him of abusing his office as the good Toh Puan was not a paid civil servant. As Head of MAGERAN — the National Operations Council, he had absolute power to decide in her favour and even the government’s Chief Secretary sanctioned it. But no, the late Tun led by example, and he was certainly not going to compromise his principles.

"We wish to put on record that Tun Abdul Razak was a highly principled man, well-known to all who knew him for his frugality and utmost integrity and any statement or inference to the contrary would be totally false and misleading to his memory and to his service and sacrifices for the nation.
"We take issue with anyone who taints his memory, whatever the motive. We would also like to add that our whole family is united on this issue."

All this, this man was and more. So why has his children now have to defend his legacy?

I can answer this question with one word:

ROSMAH

A Rosmah Mansor aided and abetted by one of Tun Razak's own children, Najib!

Enough Said!

Najib's four brothers, Datuk Johari, Datuk Nizam, Datuk Nazim, and Datuk Seri Nazir said in their three-paragraph statement: "We are extremely concerned that some recent news articles and postings have given rise to speculation as to the nature and extent of the inheritance that our late father, Tun Abdul Razak, had left behind.

Grand Legal Corruption : 1MDB

Legal Corruption is an Umno phenomena.

Grand Legal Corruption is Najib's.

Such is the massiveness of the scale of this Grand Legal Corruption under this Najib Razak led government that you can no longer defined it by putting an amount to it.

Not one million ringgit, not ten million ringgit. We now talk in terms of billions. And if you can get your head around the number of zero's involve there is still the question of legality.

How can corruption on this scale be legal?

How can it be sanctioned by the highest legislative branch of government - The Cabinet?

How can it have the protection and the active participation of the highest office in the land, that of the Prime Minister's?

How do you begin to equate any punishment to a crime of this scale? Is it a crime against the Nation because the ramification of such a crime reverberates across the entire economic and financial structure of the nations or is it simply a criminal act that is the result of man's follies - in this case, greed?

Are our already compromised legal and policing resources able to even start to get to grips with the potential fallout of this Grand Legal Corruption? Do they have the resources to comprehend, prosecute, get a conviction and punished the perpetrators of this dastardly act? Where do they start? How can they start when it requires the cooperation of authorities and public entities that are already actively involved in the start, the operation and the cover up of the grand corruption of the said activities.

Does the political will exists to do anything about it?

Yes I am talking about 1MDB a property-to-energy fund whose advisory board is chaired by Prime Minister Najib Razak. Among other things it has built a debt of $RM49 billion ringgit to build a portfolio of ageing power plants.

Yes I am talking about the involvement of the Prime Minister from the start of this Grand Corruption scam.

The involvement of the Prime Minister in the present cover up, abuse and misuse of the funds within 1MDB.

And I am talking about all the willing participants that have profited and taken part in the cover up of the said 1MDB scam.

Grand Legal Corruption on this scale has the potential to be a political game changer not only for those within Umno but also for Putrajaya. This has national and global ramifications for our country and will certainly have a bearing on who will do federal government after the coming general election - if not sooner.

For the moment it spells the end of Najib Razak's charmed existence as President of Umno, Chairman of BN, Prime Minister of Malaysia and wife to Rosmah Mansor.

And if not contained and quickly dealt with, it will certainly herald the end of the Umno led BN government era - a follow through of the 12th general election when BN lost its two thirds majority and the predictable follow on of the 13th general election when BN lost its popular mandate to govern.

Can we try and get an idea of the scale of this Grand Legal Corruption?

As of last week - the third week of February 2015 - the funds required by 1MDB to settle loans with local banks (Maybank and RHB Capital) is RM2 billion. Nine Zeros after the digit!

How grand is this Grand Legal Corruption? Look at the following headlines and you will start to get an idea of how large this Grand Legal Corruption is!

Junk as Investors Weigh Wind-Down

(Bloomberg) -- 1Malaysia Development Bhd.’s bonds are trading like junk as investors seek greater clarity over the state investment fund’s plans to wind down and sell off assets.

Malaysia Fund’s Debts Make Defending Ringgit Tougher

(Bloomberg) -- Malaysia’s task in propping up Asia’s worst-performing currency just got a lot tougher.

The cost of options protecting against further ringgit declines approached a 1 1/2-year high on speculation 1Malaysia Development Bhd., the state investment fund, will need a bailout. The currency is already languishing at its weakest level since 2009 as the oil-exporting nation suffers amid sliding crude prices.

“The market remains wary of 1MDB’s ability to repay its debt,” Irene Cheung, a foreign-exchange strategist in Singapore at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group, said Feb. 24. “The ringgit is vulnerable to the near-term outlook for oil prices. A recovery is difficult.”

“He [Low] has been trying to convince his Hollywood friends like Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx and Leonardo di Caprio to use Malaysia as a location for movies.”[Star
In which case was it the connection with Low that brought his friend Leonardo di Caprio and his film project about a ‘modern day Caligula‘ to Red Granite Pictures and Riza Aziz?

Partying Paris Hilton at San Tropez

If so, it throws a new perspective onto Jho Low’s links with Najib Razak’s pet project 1MDB Malaysia, the development bank, which has raised billions through undisclosed, private bonds arranged by, amongst others, Goldman Sachs.

1MDB’s investments have been increasingly controversial, focusing mainly on buying up ageing power companies, which appear to be of questionable value in developing the state of Malaysia.

One of the investors involved in 1MDB is the low profile Middle Eastern venture Petro-Saudi, who were also the buyers when the Taib family sold out of their controversial stake in UBG bank  back in 2011.

Jho Low himself had earlier become involved in UBG, coming onto the board as a Director in 2008 after a major share purchase, on behalf of the Abu Dhabi owned company Majestic Masterpiece.

The young Penang born financier makes much of his fantastic connections, both in Hollywood and the Middle East (particularly Abu Dhabi), allegedly made through networking as a Harrow schoolboy and at Wharton Business School in the US.

But it is his ostentatious high living that has mainly brought Jho Low to the attention of the Malaysian public.  It was he who apparently topped the record for high spending in a New York nightclub, buying champagne for all the assembled guests.

Jho Low also astonished onlookers with the sheer lavishness of a party put on for a girlfriend on a yacht in Taiwan and again drew attention when he partied Paris Hilton with jaw dropping extravagance.

So, could Jho Low be the organiser assisting in the financing of Red Granite Pictures and is that why he was so prominent at the launch and at Leonardo di Caprio’s recent birthday bash?

Wall Street and Bank Negara have got their hands full trying to deal with the potential collapse 1MDB.

This Legal Grand Corruption is as grand as Hollywood can make it!
  • Leonardo di Caprio's Grand
  • Paris Hilton Grand!
  • A $33.5M Upper West Side New York City seven -bedroom Home at the Park Laurel at 15 West 63rd Street Grand!
This is not something the Cabinet can make right or legal as they did when they "approved" Rosmah's use of the Government Jet.

This is not buying a RM$100,000 handbag.

This is Grand Legal Corruption on a massive unprecedented scale that can exists only in a Tin Pot Alley African Democratic (sic!) nation ruled by a Despot. This is Grand Legal Corruption on the level of a Gaddafi, Mugabe, Suharto or a Marcos.

This is the Grand Legal Corruption that now exists in Malaysia today!

And as of last week cabinet has rejected a proposed cash injection into 1MDB of RM3 billion reducing the financing options for 1MDB.

What now 1MDB?

What now of the future of Najib Razak and Umno?

Even as the unraveling of 1MDB continues, steps have already been taken to oust Najib Razak from within Umno sooner rather than later. 1MDB is simply the culmination of an unprecedented Prime Ministership that has seen the misuse and abuse of executive authority at the highest level of government, an almost total breakdown in the authority of a clueless Prime Minister bedeviled by an overbearing and controlling Rosmah and certainly a lack of political will by those with political power to rein in the excesses of the Prime Minister  because in him they also see their ticket for political and financial gain as the Umno led BN government enjoys it's last few years in power before the next general election that will surely see a change in government long demanded by the rakyat.

In short : Najib is f**ked. Umno is F**ked.

What will become of this nation and its people is still a work in progress that will only see the light of day when its people are able to understand that in their hands lies the future of our people and our nation. When that realization will come are in the laps of the Gods. Hopeful as I am that the next election will herald a new era in open and responsible government the prognosis is unclear. To date there is an opposition but its credibility is questionable. PKR, DAP and PAS have much to do before the Umno led BN government will up stakes and start fighting to protect their flank and engage in any meaningful rear guard action.

We live in interesting times. Let the games begin!

The World According to Student Bloopers

The World According to Student Bloopers

Richard Lederer
St. Paul's School

One of the fringe benefits of being an English or History teacher is receiving the occasional jewel of a student blooper in an essay. I have pasted together the following "history" of the world from certifiably genuine student bloopers collected by teachers throughout the United States, from eight grade through college level. Read carefully, and you will learn a lot.

The inhabitants of Egypt were called mummies. They lived in the Sarah Dessert and traveled by Camelot. The climate of the Sarah is such that the inhabitants have to live elsewhere, so certain areas of the dessert are cul- tivated by irritation. The Egyptians built the Pyramids in the shape of a huge triangular cube. The Pramids are a range of mountains between France and Spain.

The Bible is full of interesting caricatures. In the first book of the Bible, Guinesses, Adam and Eve were created from an apple tree. One of their children, Cain, asked "Am I my brother's son?" God asked Abraham to sacrifice Issac on Mount Montezuma. Jacob, son of Issac, stole his brother's birthmark. Jacob was a partiarch who brought up his twelve sons to be partiarchs, but they did not take to it. One of Jacob's sons, Joseph, gave refuse to the Israelites.

Pharaoh forced the Hebrew slaves to make bread without straw. Moses led them to the Red Sea, where they made unleavened bread, which is bread made without any ingredients. Afterwards, Moses went up on Mount Cyanide to get the ten commandments. David was a Hebrew king skilled at playing the liar. He fougth with the Philatelists, a race of people who lived in Biblical times. Solomon, one of David's sons, had 500 wives and 500 porcupines.

Without the Greeks, we wouldn't have history. The Greeks invented three kinds of columns - Corinthian, Doric and Ironic. They also had myths. A myth is a female moth. One myth says that the mother of Achilles dipped him in the River Stynx until he became intolerable. Achilles appears in "The Illiad", by Homer. Homer also wrote the "Oddity", in which Penelope was the last hardship that Ulysses endured on his journey. Actually, Homer was not written by Homer but by another man of that name.
Socrates was a famous Greek teacher who went around giving people advice. They killed him. Socrates died from an overdose of wedlock.

In the Olympic Games, Greeks ran races, jumped, hurled the biscuits, and threw the java. The reward to the victor was a coral wreath. The government of Athen was democratic because the people took the law into their own hands. There were no wars in Greece, as the mountains were so high that they couldn't climb over to see what their neighbors were doing. When they fought the Parisians, the Greeks were outnumbered because the Persians had more men.

Eventually, the Ramons conquered the Geeks. History call people Romans because they never stayed in one place for very long. At Roman banquets, the guests wore garlic in their hair. Julius Caesar extinguished himself on the battlefields of Gaul. The Ides of March killed him because they thought he was going to be made king. Nero was a cruel tyrany who would torture his poor subjects by playing the fiddle to them.

Then came the Middle Ages. King Alfred conquered the Dames, King Arthur lived in the Age of Shivery, King Harlod mustarded his troops before the Battle of Hastings, Joan of Arc was cannonized by George Bernard Shaw, and the victims of the Black Death grew boobs on their necks. Finally, the Magna Carta provided that no free man should be hanged twice for the same offense.

In midevil times most of the people were alliterate. The greatest writer of the time was Chaucer, who wrote many poems and verse and also wrote liter- ature. Another tale tells of William Tell, who shot an arrow through an apple while standing on his son's head.

The Renaissance was an age in which more individuals felt the value of their human being. Martin Luther was nailed to the church door at Wittenberg for selling papal indulgences. He died a horrible death, being excommunicated by a bull. It was the painter Donatello's interest in the female nude that made him the father of the Renaissance. It was an age of great inventions and discoveries. Gutenberg invented the Bible. Sir Walter Raleigh is a historical figure because he invented cigarettes. Another important invention was the circulation of blood. Sir Francis Drake circumcised the world with a 100-foot clipper.

The government of England was a limited mockery. Henry VIII found walking difficult because he had an abbess on his knee. Queen Elizabeth was the "Vir- gin Queen." As a queen she was a success. When Elizabeth exposed herself be- fore her troops, they all shouted "hurrah." Then her navy went out and defeated the Spanish Armadillo.

The greatest writer of the Renaissance was William Shakespear. Shakespear never made much money and is famous only because of his plays. He lived in Windsor with his merry wives, writing tragedies, comedies and errors. In one of Shakespear's famous plays, Hamlet rations out his situation by relieving himself in a long soliloquy. In another, Lady Macbeth tries to convince Mac- beth to kill the King by attacking his manhood. Romeo and Juliet are an example of a heroic couplet. Writing at the same time as Shakespear was Miquel Cervantes. He wrote "Donkey Hote". The next great author was John Milton. Milton wrote "Paradise Lost." Then his wife dies and he wrote "Paradise Regained."

During the Renaissance America began. Christopher Columbus was a great navigator who discovered America while cursing about the Atlantic. His ships were called the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Fe. Later the Pilgrims crossed the Ocean, and the was called the Pilgrim's Progress. When they landed at Plymouth Rock, they were greeted by Indians, who came down the hill rolling their was hoops before them. The Indian squabs carried porposies on their back. Many of the Indian heroes were killed, along with their cabooses, which proved very fatal to them. The winter of 1620 was a hard one for the settlers. Many people died and many babies were born. Captain John Smith was responsible for all this.

One of the causes of the Revolutionary Wars was the English put tacks in their tea. Also, the colonists would send their pacels through the post with- out stamps. During the War, Red Coats and Paul Revere was throwing balls over stone walls. The dogs were barking and the peacocks crowing. Finally, the colonists won the War and no longer had to pay for taxis.

Delegates from the original thirteen states formed the Contented Congress. Thomas Jefferson, a Virgin, and Benjamin Franklin were two singers of the Declaration of Independence. Franklin had gone to Boston carrying all his clothes in his pocket and a loaf of bread under each arm. He invented elec- tricity by rubbing cats backwards and declared "a horse divided against itself cannot stand." Franklin died in 1790 and is still dead.

George Washington married Matha Curtis and in due time became the Father of Our Country. Them the Constitution of the United States was adopted to secure domestic hostility. Under the Constitution the people enjoyed the right to keep bare arms.

Abraham Lincoln became America's greatest Precedent. Lincoln's mother died in infancy, and he was born in a log cabin which he built with his own hands. When Lincoln was President, he wore only a tall silk hat. He said, "In onion there is strength." Abraham Lincoln write the Gettysburg address while traveling from Washington to Gettysburg on the back of an envelope. He also signed the Emasculation Proclamation, and the Fourteenth Amendment gave the ex-Negroes citizenship. But the Clue Clux Clan would torcher and lynch the ex-Negroes and other innocent victims. On the night of April 14, 1865, Lincoln went to the theater and got shot in his seat by one of the actors in a moving picture show. The believed assinator was John Wilkes Booth, a sup- posedl insane actor. This ruined Booth's career.
Meanwhile in Europe, the enlightenment was a reasonable time. Voltare invented electricity and also wrote a book called "Candy". Gravity was invented by Issac Walton. It is chiefly noticeable in the Autumn, when the apples are flaling off the trees.

Bach was the most famous composer in the world, and so was Handel. Handel was half German, half Italian and half English. He was very large. Bach died from 1750 to the present. Beethoven wrote music even though he was deaf. He was so deaf he wrote loud music. He took long walks in the forest even when everyone was calling for him. Beethoven expired in 1827 and later died for this.

France was in a very serious state. The French Revolution was accomplished before it happened. The Marseillaise was the theme song of the French Revolu- tion, and it catapulted into Napoleon. During the Napoleonic Wars, the crowned heads of Europe were trembling in their shoes. Then the Spanish gorrilas came down from the hills and nipped at Napoleon's flanks. Napoleon became ill with bladder problems and was very tense and unrestrained. He wanted an heir to inheret his power, but since Josephine was a baroness, she couldn't bear him any children.

The sun never set on the British Empire because the British Empire is in the East and the sun sets in the West. Queen Victoria was the longest queen. She sat on a thorn for 63 years. He reclining years and finally the end of her life were exemplatory of a great personality. Her death was the final event which ended her reign.

The nineteenth century was a time of many great inventions and thoughts. The invention of the steamboat caused a network of rivers to spring up. Cyrus McCormick invented the McCormick Raper, which did the work of a hundred men. Samuel Morse invented a code for telepathy. Louis Pastuer discovered a cure for rabbis. Charles Darwin was a naturailst who wrote the "Organ of the Species". Madman Curie discovered radium. And Karl Marx became one of the Marx Brothers.

The First World War, cause by the assignation of the Arch-Duck by a surf, ushered in a new error in the anals of human history.

STAY ALERT!

Because of recent abductions in daylight hours, refresh yourself of these things to do in an emergency situation. This is for you, and for you to share with your wife, your children, everyone you know.

After reading these
9 crucial tips, forward them to someone you care about. It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in.

1. Tip from ‘Tae Kwon Do’:  The elbow is the strongest point on your
body. If you are close enough to use it, Do So, and hold nothing back!

2.. Learned this from a tourist guide.
If a robber asks for your wallet
and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. .....Toss it away from you....
     Chances are
that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse
than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE
     OTHER DIRECTION!

3.
If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail
lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy..
     The driver won't see you,
but everybody else will. This has saved
     lives.

4.
Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating,
working, etc., and just sit (doing their chequebook, or making a list,
etc. DON'T DO THIS!) The predator will be watching you, and this is
the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a
gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET
INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.

If someone
is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF,
Repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF!
Instead gun the engine and speed into anything,
wrecking the car.
Your Air Bag will save you.
If the person is
in the back seat they will get the worst of it .
As soon as the car crashes bail out and run.
It is better
than having them find your body in a remote location.

5.
A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking
    garage:
    A.)
Be aware: Look around you, look into your car, at the passenger
side floor, and in the back seat.
B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the
passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them
into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.

C.) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the
passenger side...If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car,
you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get guard/
policeman to walk you back out.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better
    paranoid than dead.)

6.
ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs.
   Stairwells are horrible places
to be alone and the perfect crime spot.
This is especially true at NIGHT!)
7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS
    RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times;
and even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN,
Preferably in a zig -zag pattern!

8.
As women are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP!!! It may get you
raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well
educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of
unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often
asked 'for help' into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he
   abducted his next victim.

9.
Another Safety Point:     A lady heard a crying baby on her porch recently, and she called the
police because it was late and she thought it was weird..
The police told her 'Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door..'
    The lady
then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a
window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get
    run over.
The policeman said, 'We already have a unit on the way, whatever you
do, DO NOT open the door.'

He told her that they think
a serial killer has a baby's cry recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone dropped off a baby. He said they have not verified it, but have had several calls by women saying that they hear baby's cries outside their doors when they're home alone at night.
10
. Water scam!
If you wake up in the middle of the night to hear all your taps outside
running or what you think is a burst pipe, DO NOT GO OUT TO
INVESTIGATE! These people turn on all your outside taps full blast
so that you will go out to investigate and then attack.

Stay alert, keep safe, and look out for your neighbours!
Please pass this on.

If you love your mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, friends etc., you may want to pass this onto them.

Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world we live in has a lot of crazies in it and it's better to be safe than sorry...

Everyone should take 5 minutes to read this.
It may save your’s or a loved one's life.

Twilight Time : The Platters

CHER

Who will tell Rosmah that she is the unmitigated bitch that some son's have had the misfortune to have as their mother!

Who will tell Rosmah that she is the unmitigated bitch that some son's have had the misfortune to have as their mother!

Surely, even for Rosmah, the revelation that it cost's RM$1200 to dye her hair is behavior beyond the pale - outside the bounds of morality, good behavior or judgement, unacceptable?

And if she chooses to debate with me that she is NOT the bitch that some son's have had the misfortune to have had, tell me Rosmah, which part of "bitch" do you not understand? "Bitch" as a verb or "bitch" as a noun?

noun: Bitch - a spiteful or unpleasant women.
verb: make spitefully critical and stupid comment.

Words related to bitch : whore, slut, bitches, ass, ugly, fat , stupid.

Which of the above or possibly all of the above - will be deemed appropriate by others to be your lot, is for them to decide. I have my own thoughts on the matter which are best kept on a "need to know" basis lest anyone think me uncouth or worse, also the son of a bitch too.

Holy mother of God women do you not understand the ramification of such a revelation? Do you not understand that RM$1200 is what some families cannot even expect to earn in a month. That RM$1200 is not what many women would be prepared to pay for a lifetime of their hair being dyed?

What posses this women to tell our nation this?

Is this her idea of gaining our sympathy by sharing with us her own "hardship" of having to juggle paying RM$1200 for her hair to be dyed and RM$500 for tailored dresses on no income? Really Rosmah....you expect sympathy from us by telling us this?

Is this her way of telling us that she too knows the hardship that many Malaysian are facing in this troubled economic times? That she too is beginning to feel the pinch - imagine, she tells us, imagine if she had to pay more than the RM1200 that she is now already paying to get her hair dyed? And more than RM$500 to tailor her dresses.

And she tells Najib and whoever else is listening...she is worried that the GST will make those RM$1200 hair dying sessions no longer affordable and the making of RM$500 tailored dresses for her amply proportioned self, more expensive...and how is she to cope when she has "no income" and is dependent on her husband for handouts?

And how does she expect other housewives to react to these revelations of the "difficulties" and "money woes" she is having in her own household? In Seri Perdana?

Bitch do you think we care?

Anyone that tell me that she is paying RM$1200 to dye their hair would at best  be the recipient of an incredulous and withering stare from me. Incredulous because surely nobody is dumb enough to pay THAT much to have their hair dyed. Withering because you cannot figure how anyone is that stupid to pay that much when you can do the same thing with Wella products for under RM$100!

And now we come to the husband? No we are not talking about Rosmah again....we are talking about Najib...the one who has the income. What of him?

Did they not discuss what she was going to say that day at the Bakti GST briefing over breakfast? Did he not choke on his toast or splutter some coffee all over the tablecloth when she announced to him what she was about to tell the world about her RM$1200 hair dye and the RM$500 tailored dress charges?

Or did he just muttered "Yes Dear...OK dear...buat lah apa yang patut dear"

What would I tell Najib to tell her?

"Pakai aja lah tudung dear...tak payah dye!"

Then and Now.

steadyaku47 comment: I came across this article (author unknown) in October 2010 and posted it on my blog late Ocotber 2010 because there were truths in what he said. To day almost five years later I came across it again this evening as I looked back to the early years when I first started blogging.

Abang Lah was then Prime MInister.

Today with Najib Razak as Prime Minister nothing much has changed. It is for you to read what the writer thought of Abang Lah and Umno five years ago and ask yourself if the same could be said of Najib and Umno today. An interesting leap back into time.

UMNO - The Fallen Legacy

I am an UMNO member to its core. I used to believe in its fight for Malay supremacy and Malaysia. I respect and am indebted to all its presidents; Onn Jaafar, Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussein Onn and Tun Mahathir Mohamed. This is the party which fought against the Malayan Union, the independence, the development and the glory; right until the time Mahathir handed the power (and the fate of the nation) to Abdullah. BN won with landslide victory in the 11th GE. I had believed that we were in the good hands of Abdullah. But he turns out to be a traitor!

The doom fated UMNO will crash to its knee and the only way to stop the inevitable is to remove Abdullah. I am Malay and accustomed to its ‘sopan-santun’ culture but never have I hated any political leader as I hate him now. Even Karpal and Anwar now look better to me. Khairy and Kamaludin’s involvements and influence in UMNO and federal administration are catalysts to the demise of this great and glorious party. I am ASHAMED even to recognize Abdullah as my Prime Minister (PM). If I have the power I would erase any proof that Abdullah was PM!

Mahathir had once said that his only failure was to change the Malays. He is wrong! Mahathir’s biggest and fatal mistake is the choice of his successor, Abdullah! What has Abdullah done for the past six years? Can anyone answer me? He has done NOTHING but damages. Who the hell is Abdullah to cancel the curve bridge? Who the hell is he to give federal and state contracts to Khairy’s ECM Libra and Kamaludin’s Scomi? If he is in the U.S. he could have been shot to death. Abdullah and his family and friends must be removed if UMNO wants to recover. There is no other way.

In power now are those of Abdullah’s ‘yes-men’. This includes Nazri and Shahrir. Nazri (who the hell is he?) was the one who dared Mahathir to quit UMNO. I feel pity for this man. He does not know that I am Mahathir’s disciple and I will become Malaysia’s eighth PM and I will hunt him down and jail him for being ungrateful to Mahathir. I will jail Abdullah for his absolute betrayal to his people and I will jail Khairy for his idiotic idea of becoming the youngest PM. What about Abdullah’s son, Kamaludin? He will also end up in jail for consuming our wealth thru Petronas and Rapid.

Mahathir must come back to set UMNO right. Then only Najib can take over. Najib has no power against Abdullah. Mahathir must sack all those senators and ministers who are ungrateful to him. We do not need these hooligans as our leaders. To manage multi-racial Malaysia we must have a determine and powerful leader like Mahathir. Abdullah is weak. Though many hate Mahathir but many respect him. Who dares to bring up race and rights issues during Mahathir? Such was the fear that leads to a stable and prosperous nation. Unlike Abdullah, who, can go to hell (or go to sleep?).

If Abdullah (God forbids) continues to stay (he may) BN and UMNO will stumble and crash and will not recover. Gone are all the resources that make them powerful and invincible. Rakyat will vote for the oppositions not because they want to vote for the oppositions but they want to teach Abdullah, UMNO and BN some lessons. And PR definitely prefers Abdullah to stay because this is the only way they can win the 13th GE. They know the rakyat will vote them out of disgust to Abdullah. Malaysia in the hands of PR will suffer. No one thinks they can manage Malaysia.
