Irish Medical Terminology for the Layman

artery - the study of fine painting
barium - what you do when the patient dies
benign - what you are after you are eight
cesarean section - a district in Rome
congenital - friendly
dilate - live longer
fester - quicker
medical staff - a doctor's cane
minor operation - a coal digger
morbid - a higher offer
nitrate - lower than the day rate
organic - church musician
out-patient - a person who has fainted
post-operative - a letter carrier
protein - in favor of young people
tablet - a small table
tumor - an extra pair
urine - opposite of you are out
varicose veins - veins very close together

  1. The Irish terms above - they sound a lot like my favourite comic strip: B.C.'s Wiley's dictionary!

    And the last thing above - about god - sure seems that way, doesn't it?

In this world whatever that needs to be written has been written...whatever jokes need to be told has been told...whatever advise that needs to be given has been given...I take what i like and where possible put my own take on these writings, rehash them and share them with those that want to read them....the originality is from the way I try to craft them into situations that are around us. As you say Pat when our mind does not work as well - we take five and let others do the writing and we read them. MERDEKA !!!
