Cakap Cakap

I have just seen a very disturbing video on YouTube "Kugan Death Body at Serdang Hospital". I am not familiar with the facts but from what I gather this is another case of death while under Police custody..accidental or otherwise. From what I see, beyond parties or individuals making capital out of a tragic situation, I see an Indian Family grieving in a manner as only the Indians can (no disrespect meant here), for a loved one that is gone. If our country leaders do not grieve for this Family then we must. We should also take cognizance of the fact that his wounded and bloodied body is the result of our apathy and continued tolerance of a PDRM that considers itself a law upon itself.
The use of force within PDRM is now "standard procedure". Suspects are subject to brutal beatings and serious assaults following their arrest or detention. Kugan Ananthan is collateral damage - only 22 and an Indian (that's two strikes against him) who was arrested for investigation into car thefts and armed robbery and so deserves to be bludgeon to death. Standard procedure.

Whatever his family lawyer N. Surendren have said in his lawyer's lingo that Kugan was never brought to court to be charged, was never convicted and did not have a criminal record is just that...lawyer's talk. If we are able to label PDRM action as Police brutality then by the same token let us at least admit that Kugan was no Boy Scout but that was no reason for PDRM to bludgeon him to death.

Nothing Racial about the situation? I submit that this is a situation where Malay Mata Mata (it's more polite then to call them Babi!!) bludgeon an Indian kid to death because they can and thought they could get away with it. These are probably the same Malay Mata Mata who go to Friday Prayers, Pray five times a day, observe Ramadan religiously and partake in the taking of bribes daily and seriously.

Now standard procedure number two kicks in. PM will insists that there will be no cover-up. Najib will enthusiastically endorsed this (what else can he do ??). This is the same Najib whose UTK bodyguard is now on trial for the murder of  Altantuya who Najib insists "Saya tidak sama sekali mengenali atau berjumpa dengan wanita mongola berkenaan". ...quite similar to that Clinton guy insisting "I did not have sexual relations with woman". Will Najib be outed? Yes he will...time will reveal everything. It is a babbler and speaks even when  not asked. If he does become PM then he will buy time...enough time for him and his cohorts to burn and plunder our Nation...but even he understands that he must plunder first and then burn...and he will be long gone when our country burns.

The AG? Well he is in a damm if he does, damm if he does not situation. He goes after the Police he opens a can of worms and if he does not he will be the whipping boy of the Opposition and the Rakyat. If we make our voices loud enough the Politicians will see him as a liability and out he goes. Ag's are a dime a dozen. So have pity on that poor guy while he waits for his political masters to decide what to do.

Amen.

A Priest offered a lift to a Nun. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg. The Priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthy slid his hand up her leg. The Nun said, "Father, remember Psalm 129?" The Priest removed his hand. But, changing gears he let his hand slide up her leg again. The Nun once again said. "Father, remember Psalm 129?". The priest apologized"Sorry Sister but the flesh is weak." Arriving at the convent the Nun went on her way. On his arrival at the church the Priest rushed up to look up Psalm 129. It said, "Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory."

Forgiveness:
Forgiveness does not mean forgetting or condoning offences or reconciling with the offender..it means giving up the right to be angry. Shifting rigid personal "rules" for how people should behave to "preferences" and accepting that no adult can control another. Moving from blame to understanding ....and then moving on.

Some day I want to be rich. You hear all those stories about the rich living in ivory towers surrounded by servants, living a decadent lifestyle and being so isolated from their fellow human beings that they lose all respect for humanity? Well that's how rich I want to be !!!

A man ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education and social ties. No social basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death.

Najib Razak

How this guy is going to shake of the excesses of his wife and himself from the time they knew each other (while married to other people) until he became a serious PM contender is something I will watch with anticipation and trepidation (not for me but for him). It will take a monumental effort to contain their goings on - sexual and financials. Can you imagine the amount of money that would be required to keep everybody quite? What contracts, projects, tenders have to be kautim in order to contain these possible exposures - anyone of which , if they become public knowledge, will mean no more Sri Perdana? The mind boggles...and that is why Mahyuddin (the Man who would be King) is cool and waiting in the wings. For me Najib is just a temporary blip in Mahyuddins journey to Sri Perdana. Najib will be so tied up covering his sordid past that he will not have time to Govern... he will not go past a year or two at the most.

Pak Lah

Pak Lah

In 2004 you had Malaysia in the palm of your hand. You had the mandate to do what you will and the people would have been there with you. You could have done without Samy Velu, Rafidah to name a few, within your Cabinet. You could have come down hard on corruption in UMNO and in every Government Department and the people would have been there for you. You could have reformed the Judiciary, insisted that all your Ministers declare their worth etc etc all that you say you want to do now before your March voluntary termination as PM you could have done many times over in the time since 2004 BUT you did not. Now it is too late. Too late for UMNO, too late for you. You are a decent man who meant well but possibly our expectations of you were too high. In the end we realized that you are like us - like Mahathir - where our personal and Family greed invariably required us to "close one eye" when plundering of our Nation's wealth  was done by our Family and Friends. Amen.
Mahathir.
A sad old man. Tun your time is over. You should really be in a retirement home by now. Are we an ungrateful lot that has forgotten your contributions to the Nation? No we have not. When all is said and done you and your Family, your Friends have been well rewarded financially for the services you have rendered to the Nation. Some will say too well rewarded, but who are we to say, that is how the cookies crumbles. You have made mistakes and you have to live with the mistakes you made.It pains me to see you know - a pathetic and at times articulate old man being used by others for their own gains. Tun we understand your worry that UMNO and Barisan glory days are gone (there are some among us who are grateful that it is so !!!) that your legacies are being ravaged and left adrift (Proton, Putrajaya etc ) that the crooked bridge project have been cancelled AFTER money has been paid by u know who to u know who...but in spite or should I say despite all this, our affection for you remains. Live what is left of your life without too rancor or hate for those that now control UMNO - it is their time and they will reap what they sow (Pak Lah will leave in March barring any miracles happening). It is far better that you retire with grace and tell yourself "I have done my best"....though there will be some amongst us that will insists that your best was not good enough. Your work is done.

Age does not always bring wisdom.
Sometimes age comes alone...I do not really know where I stand on that one. Maybe, just maybe in my old age that does not matter much
